London Development Project – Goldman Sachs European Headquarters

Goldman Sachs NEW European Headquarters is due to open for business in early 2019, upon completion of the fit out works, albeit the building works are due to be completed in middle 2018.

This world class high security building which also incorporates a large auditorium has a greater floor space that the Shard and is also bomb proof.

We secured the Project via a tendering process and were awarded the Sub Contract by Multiplex Global back in 2016.

We have in the interim worked closely with Multiplex, the Project Architect Adamsons Associates and also the Client Goldman Sachs on delivering a high quality project in terms of Design Manufacture and Install, including the provision of samples and benchmarks for each area of works for client approval before actual works are carried out.

Our works include, The Installation of 2 number main feature staircases running over 8 floors, with fabricated steel stairs, clad inner and outer in stainless steel with a cantilevered glass balustrade with stainless steel handrails, and on level 1 incorporated into the stair a full height attack resistant Vetrotech P6B glass screen, with a electric operated self closing security door. On each level adjacent to the Stair/s we provided a Blast proof / Fire rated screens comprising a 35mm thick Vetrotech contraflam SP615B Diamant glass screen, surrounded by a black anodised aluminium reveal.

The Sundry and Architectural Metalwork packages included, Mild steel balustrade C/W Stainless Steel / Mild Steel handrails to 14 staircases, Stainless Steel Vent Shaft gratings complete with hatches to 7 shafts, Installation of Fire Rated and thermal hatches supplied by Surespan, Stainless Steel Balustrading to the Main Entrance with integrated LED Lighting, Blast Relief Panels and Bomb Proof Windows to the Scan Room, Fire & Ballistic rated windows to the Control Booth and Rimex Stainless steel cladding to the Goods Lift areas and the Vehicle Entrance Area, 36 galvanised hoop ladders to Basement / Vent Shaft Areas and other various sundry items.
