Dane Apprenticeship Programmes

In the last month Lee Lewins has completed his Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship in Fabrication and Welding, and Jordan Boyle has completed his L3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Fabrication and Welding with our training partners Derwentside College in Consett. We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Lee and Jordan on their apprenticeship achievement awards.

Dane have a longstanding practice of recruiting apprentices, a number of whom remain in our employment after 20 years or more. Currently we have 6 apprenticeship programmes running with our education partners at Derwentside College and Newcastle College. Trainees attend courses on a day release basis and are assessed here in our factories and offices by their tutors who discuss and measure their performance in consultation with Dane Management.
